Since 1977, Tom and Brigid Abdenour have been catering to Austin’s health conscious culture by using traditional old world flavors to create the popular, fresh and healthy cuisine of Toms Tabooley.

Tom’s also distributes a full line of prepackaged, delicious foods to local markets around Austin & central Texas including: hummus dips, six varieties of hand rolled dolma’s, tabooley salad, prepared falafel wraps, hummus tabooley wraps, thai noodle wraps, mediterranean platters, baklava, and much more. After all is said and done, Tom’s Tabooley is probably my favorite restaurant ever. I have nothing to complain about: excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and excellent people behind the counter (as well as excellent prices…yessss!)

You can Dine In or Carry Out our delicious hot and crunchy falafels, hand cut fries and gyros, or choose from a variety of local fair trade organic coffee drinks and italian soda.

We lovingly prepare our famous hand made baklava & fudge, along with other hand made treats. We have an array of specialty imports, chocolates, and retro candy, in addition to our specialty drinks.
